Should homeopaths be detained under the mental health act?
Thousands of people die every year because they are given the wrong medication. People also die because doctors fail to diagnose their illness. People who consult a homoeopath are not always cured. Sometimes this is because the patient fails to convey their symptoms to the homoeopath, or does not re-contact the homoeopath when the remedy fails to work. My homoeopath always tells me to contact her, if a remedy fails to work. Some of her patients are doctors and there are also doctors who train as homoeopaths. I had an under-active thyroid and conventional medication failed to work. I visited several specialists who said they could not help; consequently I consulted a homoeopath who provided me with a remedy which I no longer need to take. I also had cellulites (not to be confused with cellulite) it is said to be incurable.
