Should heelys be banned?
No way! My daughter, who hates all sports and was hardly active, no matter how much coaxing got a pair for her birthday back in May, on the condition she used them sensibly. I think they must be welded to her feet because she wears them constantly and has got really good on them, she is far more active now and can lark about with her friends without her asthma kicking in, she is always out and about on them, they were so good, I got a pair and they are really good excercise. Provided they are used correctly, and sensibly, they are no more dangerous than rollerskating or blading. Something my friends and I did forever on the streets when I was younger, it is time we stopped wrapping our kids up in cotton wool, allowing them to make informed decisions for theirselves and learning to accept responsibility and the consequences of their own actions.
