Should government intervene and liquidate Margadarsi promoters assets to pay depositors?
Yes. It is the responsibility of the government. Some people say government should not intervene because it involves media. But these two are two different issues. Margadarsi Finance does not have any registration or license with Reserve Bank. Thus it is clearly illegal to collect deposits from public. Second point is it accumulated more than 1800 crore losses. From the point of law or in the interest of depositors government must take necessary action.
