Should Gordon have declared the Lisbon treaty dead in the water?
He’s a snake. Yes he should have. However, he can’t afford to offend the EU with the US in terminal decline. When they fall, which won’t be long, we are so integrated into the US economy, we will go begging cap in hand to be bailed out of the mire. English people buy their houses, often more than one. Europeans prefer to rent. They will not be in as much debt as the UK. Like it or not, and I don’t: We’re stuck with the EU. And this treaty it will continue to regurgitate. Addenda: Jersey guy. Another American who can’t keep is beak out of our business. If you don’t like us, keep away. I’d like to say it’s been a pleasure to enter into correspondance with you. However, it hasn’t.
