Should fee-based payments be included under the Sales Credits and Commissions reporting requirement?
Our definition of a fee-based account is one where there is an annual fee regardless of activity. In this context, exclude the fees for the customer accounts. Include the sales credits / commissions. The purpose is to relate compensation to transaction activity. Fee-based compensation is not transaction dependent.
