Should exfoliators be applied to damp or dry skin?
Only ever use an exfoliator on damp skin, otherwise it will have an unpleasant abrasive effect. Never use an exfoliator on a complexion that has broken capillaries. Always use an exfoliator that contains gentle microexfoliant ingredients such as Dual Action Exfoliating Treatment. If you use an exfoliator with a common ingredient such as ground almond shells, or, salt, you will create hundreds of tiny scratches on the surface of your face – this will lead to sensitivity.
