Should euthanasia be allowed??
Yes. If we are free, we are free. We have to be allowed to make the decisions for our life. If the government is in charge of deciding when to stop my medical treatment, I’m not free. If I can’t put an end to my own life, I’m not free. I can get a gun and blown my head off or jump from a high building. But that’s painful, messy and traumatic for everyone around me. A physician assistance would help me do that cleanly, with no pain and decently. The government shouldn’t be involved nor religious freaks. Religion is personal and is between one and his own god. Shoving religious principles down others’ throats is fundamentalism, fascism, tyranny. If your religion says that you shouldn’t do it, don’t do it. It doesn’t apply to everyone else around you.
