Yes english should be the official language of the US, although it should not be the only language taught in schools, currently french and spanish are taught in florida public schools in my opinion thos choices are very limiting the langage a person learns in high school maybe the only language they ever learn. There are several languages i would like to learn and my school only offers 2 of them I would like to learn: French., Spanish, Russian, italian, Chinese, and German.
