A. Documents relating to storage of instruments, measuring, test and other equipment important to safety or waste isolation should be included in the LSN. Plans for the storage of structures, systems, components and equipment important to safety are governed by 10 CFR 63 Subpart G, as are plans for the identification and control of materials, parts and components important to safety. Requirements for handling, storage, and shipping are described in Section 2.5.1.3 Acceptance Criterion 13 of the Yucca Mountain Review Plan. Requirements for identifying and controlling materials, parts, and components are described in Section 2.5.1.3 Acceptance Criterion 8 of the Plan. Requirements for the control of nonconforming materials, parts, or components are described in Section 2.5.1.3 Acceptance Criterion 15 of the Plan. Documents related to storage and provisioning of routine office-related supplies should be excluded pursuant to the general exclusion criteria contained in 10 CFR 2.1005.
