Should documents related to research, development, or test activities conducted in support of the Yucca Mountain project at sites other than Yucca Mountain be included in the LSN?
A. Yes. As explained in the Scientific and Technical sections of the FAQs, the conduct of and results of such activities should be included in the LSN. However, documents describing specific information about the facilities in which research, development or test activities were conducted should not be included in the LSN. For example, while the conduct of and results of research performed at the E-MAD facility on the Nevada Test Site in support of the Yucca Mountain program should be included in the LSN, facility-specific information about the E-MAD structure, safety systems, maintenance records, etc., should not be included.
