Should documents exclusively related to other potential repository sites be included in the LSN?
A. No. As explained in the May 5, 2003, memorandum from the DOE General Counsel, documents exclusively related to the programs to evaluate potential sites for a repository (other than the Yucca Mountain site) should not be included in the LSN. This includes documents related to the Basalt Waste Isolation Project (BWIP), and the salt and crystalline repository investigations.
