Should developed countries cancel the debts of the poorest nations?

Yes. The levels of interest are far too high and are just an excuse to keep less developed countries under the thumb- by preventing them from developing economically and by insisting that they follow certain models of governance- i.e. through privatisation of resources that affect the poorest most. It’s not likely to happen though- especially as certain rich countries are reliant on the interest repayments and on the exploitation that goes with it.
