Should death row inmates be allowed to donate organs?

Interesting question. A friend of mine has a good argument FOR this. His idea is : They get the best in healthcare already to make sure they die healthy, they are on death row because they took a life from society so they may as well repay society in some form instead of getting a death that was more humane than they did. However, this could lead to more executions on the premise that some big wig needed the organ of an inmate. The organ donation should be done only on those who have been found guilty while in the act or due to extreme physical evidence.Such as bodies found in their home etc. Also the removal of the organs should come when the prisoner is scheduled for execution not as an organ is needed. There are ways to do it that won’t damage the organs. The money that this would generate would pay for some of the cost to keep these inmates.Sounds like a win win situation to me.
