Should creationists be permitted to attend jury duty if cases involve scientifically collected evidence?

I have often wondered about this myself. As evidence in criminal cases becomes more complicated and scientifically based in an effort to mete out justice more accurately, how can a jury of uneducated myth-believers make any sense of it? I suppose that is where jury selection comes in. A good prosecutor is going to want people who will understand the evidence in the jury. Same for the defense if their case is based on scientific evidence. Believers who revel in ignorance should take note of this. It might not be too long before they are shut out of the justice system altogether if they don’t start at least making the attempt to understand what’s going on.
