Should coffee beans be stored at room temp or at colder temperatures?

0

A cool, dry place is the best place for coffee beans to retain their freshly-roasted qualities. But as long as air can get to them, they are going to degrade regardless. One of the problems with storing them in the freezer or refrigerator is the condensation that forms when they go from cold to room temp and back, over a period of time. Refrigerator in a tightly sealed container would be better than the freezer actually. If you do keep them in those conditions it might be best to just take what you need from the container *while* it’s still in the freezer or fridge.
