How “Christian” is it to persecute children because of the preferences of it’s parents? Any “Christian” who would seek to do so is an evil, narrow minded, intolerant bigot and serves only to reinforce my antipathy towards organised religion. A person’s sexual orientation is not something they choose, it is the way they are made, if you like it is the way “God” made them. Provided that the parent is caring and loving they have as much right to be a parent as anyone. Scriptures are written by people, and those people use the forum to display their own bigotry. Homosexuality has been around forever but it has been suppressed by those who have an interest in promoting the traditional family unit. This is done to facilitate the control of the masses and a repression of free thinking. I am not gay, the thought of a physical relationship with another man has no appeal for me but I do understand that this is exactly the same feeling that a gay man would have for a woman.
