Rough notes do not need to be submitted and will not be taken into account during marking. However, if a candidate has used rough paper to write a final answer (e.g. an essay) it should be made clear both on the test paper and the answer itself. Ask your teacher to attach the answer to the test paper after the exam to avoid any confusion.
