Should Canadian bacon have its own ab category?
While American and Canadian bacon share a common origin, and their relationship is one characterized by deep friendship and much good will, it is clear they are quite different indeed. I sincerely believe that Canadian bacon is unique enough in shape, texture, character, heritage and language to rate its own category, even if it’s only a sub-category of “bacon”. Of course, I might just be blowing smoke up your butt.
