Should cabinet hardware match stainless steel appliances?
Ideally, yes. If you have just a refrigerator in stainless steel, and you don’t have the money at the moment to redo the hardware, then don’t despair. If, however, you are planning to renovate the kitchen hardware and you’ve got a few stainless steel appliances, you should definitely match the hardware with the silver look of the appliances. This doesn’t mean that you have to purchase stainless steel hardware – any hardware with a silver finish (nickel, chrome, pewter, etc) will do the trick. The more that you create a consistent look throughout the kitchen space with your hardware, appliances, lighting choices and other decisions, the more consistent and appealing the overall decor will be.
