Should Bush spend the last six months of his tour of duty on patrol in Iraq?
No, I think he and his cronies should spend the last 6 months of their term sitting in front of Congress every day answering blunt questions about their policies with no hiding behind ‘national security’ or ‘executive privilege’. The dead/wounded soldiers and civilians in Iraq, as tragic as all of it is, is only a symptom of a much bigger disease. Exposure to ‘sunlight’ is the best political ‘disinfectant’ for this disease.
