They are armed with pepper sprays and batons, some are armed but only when they pass their Brazillian elecrician target practise. The modern police force isn’t really bothered about the law and it’s values they are now just revenue agents for the crown, thats the plain and simple truth and as such they cannot be trusted to be armed.
