Should Britain or Germany be Americanized ?
Britain already is. Mcdonalds’ on every corner, Gap, Burger King, Starbuck’s, Wal-Mart (Asda) etc, and virtually every cinema is a US chain. Laughably middle class kids walking round wearing their pants hanging off their arses like ex gang banger prisoners, a rise in illegal gun crime amongst knobhead teenagers who think 50 Cent is cool and not really just a giant moneymaking operation, and Americanized slang. It’s no wonder the French have an entire government department dedicated to the preservation of the French way of life to protect it against Americanization. “Well Americanization is a-ruining this nation, It’s ruining this culture, so **** off why dontcha?” Edit to asker; and I wouldn’t argue with that. With American style consumerism aggressively marketed, and the risk of being labelled a racist if you protest against super mosques or other such bollocks, Britain is unrecognisable from the country I grew up in. Which is why I emigrated to Australia.
