Should Brendan Cannon have to apologise for calling Peter De Village Idiot a clown?
I don’t see where an apology is needed. He has condoned biting, eye gouging, spear tackles. He has come out publicly stating that this is an international conspiracy to allow the ABs to win next years RWC. He has advised that he has told his players to cheat as this is the only way to win. Now he’s looking at legal action over the teams two losses to the ABs. Personally I feel calling him a clown and/or an idiot is insulting to both clowns and idiots. Edit: Is DeVilliers going to apologise for his bringing the game and referees into disrepute for his comments. If this is howm the SA rugby board works, forcing an aplogy, we may all be better off letting the SA sides play in the northern hemisphere comps like they keep threatening to. Edit: Daisy, the stories about the SA sides wanting toplay in the NH and not Super 14 or Tri nations all emanate from SA, nowhere else.
