Should boys be allowed to dress like girls in school if they want to?

Yes, after all, girls are allowed to come to school in jeans and polo shirts, which only a few decades ago was widely considered “Dressing like boys”. Of course, there’s a distinct line between allowing them to attend in more modest female dress, and having boys come in wearing say… Pink flowered dresses, or other garb that would be considered inappropriate for a school setting even if a girl wore it. Although I seriously doubt if many young boys would have the courage to go to school dressed in that manner, even if they were more comfortable that way and truly wanted to, because let’s face it, in most schools these days, a guy in a skirt is quite likely to get the pink flowery sh*t beaten out of him.

Yes, boys should be allowed to dress like girls in school if they want to. In this day and age, sure, it might be distracting for some students. But a girl wearing pants in the sixties would’ve been strange and distracting as well. Does anyone here think that women should not have dressed “like guys” at that time because it was distracting? I should hope not. When girls did start dressing “like guys”, our society eventually accepted this and it is now considered normal, as it should. It was another small step towards a more open-minded and accepting society. This is the same thing.
