Should bias opinions and commentary, be allowed on important TV news stories?

Without them in today’s news, there wouldn’t be anything to show because very little real news is reported. All the real journalists are fed up with the bastardization of their industry that has been turned into pop entertainment. Brzezinski has guts, and she’s one in a million. The fluff opinion pieces and commentary are much cheaper to produce than real investigative reporting, probably. Limiting the broadcast to hard news would also be pretty depressing, I think.

Yes. I believe it is biased to only let unbiased news stories make it to the TV. I also believe that it is important for people to know how to identify bias.

Every individual human being has opinions. Simply deciding what stories to cover or not cover is an opinion. It is IMPOSSIBLE to convey the news, or do anything in life, without having an opinion. The reality is that people only complain about “bias” if the news is presenting an opinion different from your own. If you are in agreement with them, then their bias is transparent to you.
