Should an undeclared job and under the table jobs be mentionned for security clearance?

Hi there, I am applying for a security clearance for an airport job, should i list a job I had under the table when i was a student or would it be better to not mention it? Tags: jobs rookgaroo 5:04 am on November 10, 2009 If you weren’t working under the table as a jewel thief or mob hit man, you’re better off mentioning it. This is for a security clearance, so don’t rely on them to just take your word for it. They’re likely to check you out sooner or later, and if they find you’ve lied (and they will), you’re screwed. SkinnyD 5:04 am on November 10, 2009 Do not list it, you would essentially be admitting to breaking the law. insomniac 5:04 am on November 10, 2009 If they are going to give you a polygraph you tell the truth, if it’s on the application only, only put it down if the skills you have from that experience are so relevant that they should not be left out, they aren’t going to report you to the IRS in any case, they are just looking for a job history and reference. –> Reply
