Hello Daniel, Only the President of the United States has the power to make foreign policy. Nobody else. So, your question is moot. Only if America withdraws from all the treaties between the US and other countries can America turn isolationist and not get involved in the conflicts and battles in other countries. However, as long as there are rouge countries willing to attack their neighbors and the US has treaties of mutual protection with countries that are attacked by rebels and factions intent on terror, war, and other harm then the US will always be fighting somewhere, sometime. After WWII we have Korea, Vietnam, Panama, Persian Gulf, Iraq, Afganistan, and other small engagements that we have completely forgotten about.
