Should America abandon racial integration in public schools?
The real problem with racial integration is the fact that buses are used to transport children many miles away from their home in order to attend school and get an education. The cost to do so is tens of millions of dollars, if not billions, and those children have to rise and catch the bus before the Sun rises. That, in itself, is a dangerous situation for both the child and their parents. With the huge increases in the price of motor fuel this is a particular problem for school administrators in nearly every school district within the United States of America. So too, those peoples’ children should be allowed to attend the schools that best serve the educational needs of those children. Clearly more schools need to be built, and better teachers need to be employed within the schools.
