Should all electronic records be stored in an eRMS?

0

It is more beneficial to an organisation to have an eRMS then not to have one, as records that are stored in a recordkeeping system are trustworthy, auditable, reliable and authentic records. Keeping electronic records on shared drives, CD, floppy disk, USB and the likes should be avoided, as the records stored on these devices can’t be considered authentic, as the appropriate security and access cannot be proven.
