Should all 20/20 divers receive the same + 4.5 power contacts?
A No! For most 20/20 individuals, experiencing “temporary myopia” is “weird but OK.” Others find it psychologically unpleasant, but worth the effort for the underwater benefits. We strive to make the surface-experience as tolerable as possible, without sacrificing the quality or safety of the underwater experience. For surface-intervals, HydroOptix has quality eyewear available in both -4.5 and -3.0 diopter (64 mm PD). By limiting our eyeglass diopter range, consumer price for the surface-interval eyewear is quite reasonable.
