Should agencies specify the number of panellists to be chosen from a procurement process?
An agency may wish to provide an indication of the number of panellists it is seeking to obtain from a procurement process, by mentioning the approximate size or range it is considering for the resultant panel (eg. 6-10 panellists). It is better practice to not decide on the final number of panelists until the evaluation process is completed. However, if an agency specifies a specific panel size in its approach to the market, then it is bound by that number.
