Should AD be taken No. 1?
In all drafts, regardless of the scoring format, Peterson makes a fine first selection. He doesn’t catch a lot of passes (averaging 20 per season in two years), but Peterson’s rushing ability can help make up the difference more than any other back in this argument. He is the offense, and the addition of quarterback Brett Favre (shoulder) should force defenses to play off the line more. While we can understand if you don’t want to take AD, for reasons ranging from his overuse to lack of catches to fragility, you should still feel comfortable with Peterson as the top pick in your draft.
