Should abs-cbn or ces drilons family pay ransom?
It has been reported on tv that neither the company (ABS-CBN) nor the government is paying the ransom. No ransom policy has been imposed. I would agree on this because by paying ransom it is a manifestation of tolerance of such scrupulous act. I personally think that there was a negligence on the part of the reporter and the crews, knowing that Sulu is not a safe place and that political insurgency does exist. They somehow disregarded the repercussions it brought by bypassing the military protocol of having a military escorts. Thus, putting themselves on a bad light. But then again this is something to be seriously taken care of by the ABS-CBN and the government. They should take an immediate concrete actions before its too late.
