This is actually my dog that died on Monday night and I had a report from the vet this morning and she actually spelt the name of the flu to me which was EQUINE INFLUENZA now I am not a vet and do not know all the terminology that they use. As me or Jo are not vets and we saw this site where it does actually say that the virus has jumped from horses to dogs, and what the vets told us We thought it was called that. http://www.news-medical.net/?id=13406 But basically all I wanted to know is should the vet operated on a dog who had a fever or high blood pressure. She did do an xray to see if there was an obstruction and that showed clear but she still went ahead and did the operation this is what we want to contest Why did she open up my poor boy????? Thanks for the answers from the people that have helped with answering in a polite way in this hard time in my life.
