Should a vet be able to handle a large breed dog?
Actually it’s not your responsibility to keep him still, it’s theirs. If she can’t do it and you can’t do it then she should have called for assistance, that’s what the vet techs are there for. And YES a vet should be able to handle dogs of all sizes, maybe not single-handed but they should be resourceful and know what to do or who to call in order to be able to thoroughly examine every dog no matter how rambunctious or even aggressive.
