SHOULD A STUDIO THAT DOES ONLY STEREO RECORDINGS OR TELEVISION AND RADIO STATIONS BUY QUANTIUM AUDIO MECHANICS?
Of course! Our 24 bit 192 kHz stereo mixdowns sound just as good as the 12 channel surround. The reason is that we didn’t just use the front left and right channels for the mixdown – we used all six of the main front and rear channels so our stereo mixdowns have a much “larger” sound than standard left and right channel mixes. Like we said none of these sounds have ever been offered before in any other library. Also keep in mind that surround sound for broadcast radio and television already exists. Having the 12-channel surround Quantum Audio Mechanics library is a great tool to help you get your station’s audio ready.
