Should a financial Manager play a central role in formulating Health Care Policy In Scotland?
Any health care policy has to work within a financial regime, no government has unlimited resources. It would be foolish therefore not to have a financial manager/adviser involved. Health care professionals will need to make their decisions based on the appropriate financial constraints. Individual health care professionals but may be too emotionally committed to particular treatments/applications and having a ‘neutral’ to resolve differences could also be beneficial.
