Should a fat man go jogging?
Have you thought that what you eat ought to be the first step then contemplate some form of physical exercise. Perhaps you enjoy swimming which is less of a strain on the joints as is walking. Why not start a walking regime to keep fit. You can start off by walking at a reasonable pace then when you feel your fitness levels improving you could aim at two miles a day at 3.mph. A few weeks down the line of walking you will be so much fitter and may wish to consider introducing jogging into your regime. It will surprise you just how much pleasure will derive by alternating between the two. All the best…and a trainer that gives YOU adequate support and not one that is in vogue as it may not be the right one for you so try on a range of shoes before deciding.
I used to be fat, went jogging, and now i am not. I bought the most padded and strongest foot support trainers i could find from Asics Gel, i used to do Triathlon and i found those to be the best trainers ever and then to add support i also added extra thick and strong spong support soles. So i had Asics Gel trainers with extra inserts and i stuck to running on grass, yes for overweight people it is a problem, but do all this and you will be fine, now i am much lighter, fitter and i can run everywhere. Also, my wife can’t keep her hands of my new figure 🙂 Go for it!
