If you are feeding a nutritous diet of specially formulated Layers Pellets, she should be getting most of the vitamins she needs. For added calcium you could give her either of the following:- Grated Cuttlefish bone over her feed – can be bought from a petshopCrushed Oystershells – can be bought from a smallholding storeLiquid Calcium can be bought from a Vets or online If you are giving her treats like scraps from the kitchen, she may not want to eat her own feed. The odd treat is okay, but hens need to be fed crushed oystershell and layers pellets.
