The projector might be incorrectly set to display a component video signal instead of another kind, such as RGB or composite video. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to set the projector to the type of video signal coming from your laptop or other device. For example, on Sharp’s XG-NV6XU, you would press the Menu button and choose Options. Next, select Input Type and set this to Computer/RGB or the appropriate setting for your device.
