Shared computer – business and family?
Don’t let children use your business computer without your supervision. Ideally, you should not allow your children to use your home office computer. We have seen machines that are infected continually because kids are playing games via the internet, downloading music, videos or other software that can have a virus hidden within. So if someone continually works from home we always recommend, if money is available, to purchase a separate computer for fami.ly use. If your computer needs to serve both your business and family, be sure to supervise your children whenever they use it. Teach older children not to download programs or open e-mail attachments without your permission.
