Shall i use contraceptives to avoid pregnancy?
I would not use the pill if I were you. Condoms will not affect you, but will prevent pregnancy. Talk to your doctor and see how fertile you are and if if would be easier for you to have a baby. Once you want to have a baby and if you are unable to adoption is a wonderful option. There are so many kids that need someone to love them. I hope things work out for you.
Contraceptives don’t cause these kinds of issues or make them worse. Personally if it’s a proven fact that there is some genetic issues with reproduction in your family i would call my insurance provider and ask if they cover testing for that. Besides that you really need to decide as a family how you want to address this. If it is a matter of bad egg production there is no reason why you couldn’t have some harvested now to provide a safety net if you can’t conceive in the future. Also I would find out if their doctors said it was genetic of if the doctor actually tested to find if it was genetic. There’s a big difference there.
