Sex addiction is primarily a mens issue, right?
Sex addiction impacts both males and females, and while its difficult to gain reliable empirical data on the prevalence of sex addiction among females, we are seeing more sexually addicted females in our practice. Given the media’s influence over the last few years and how it has begun to pander to the sensual interests of females, we predict the prevalence of addicted females will approach or equal the rate of addicted males.
