A. To reset your DEFCON 1 combination, follow the directions below: At the last known (current) combination, unlock the DEFCON 1 by pressing the red Release button. Retract the cable back inside its housing by holding the black Trigger button in. Once the cable is retracted release the Trigger button. Press down on top of the Plug Head (silver plug at the end of the cable) until you hear a ‘click’. This will partially recess the Plug Head into the DEFCON 1 unit. .Turn the Dial to select your new combination. Make sure you feel the numbers set into place, otherwise the combination won t set correctly. Press the Trigger (black switch on the side) and pull the Plug Head from the body of the DEFCON. To confirm that your combination is set: Extend the cable out by pressing the Trigger. Release the Trigger and plug the Plug Head into the Locking Port on the opposite side from the cable. You should hear a chirp indicating that the unit is now armed (If the battery is already in the DEFCON 1;
