Session III) For Obax, is only one dose of MMR needed?
Obax received her first measles dose at 10 months of age. That dose will not count toward the two measles doses required in the U.S. She is receiving MMR1 at 3 years of age. Since Obax is HIV-positive, her CD4 T-cell count must continue to be monitored. As long as she does not become symptomatic and severely immunosuppressed, she should receive MMR2 at 4-6 years of age.
