• The District has contracted with LAN Associates, an engineering and architectural firm with over 30 years of experience in facilities evaluation and project planning. • The mandate for LAN is to perform a thorough assessment of all of our buildings, fields and grounds. In short, the Facilities Study. • The Board is seeking answers to two questions: • The assessment is being conducted in two phases: Ø Phase I was conducted over the Summer/2004 and is now complete. The goal was to inventory all facilities/grounds, assess condition, identify deficiencies and needed improvements, and forecast population growth. Reports delivered to the Board in September 2004 included: Ø Phase II of the study is pending Board approval. If approved, the goal will be to take the results of the first phase and to develop a multi-year plan. That plan will serve: • Phase II, if approved, will be completed by March 2005. The Board and District Facilities Committee will prioritize needs as part of the process.
