Seniors keep telling me I have to track down profs and get them to sign some form for each paper. What are they talking about?

Before the 2009-2010 academic year, we did ask students to obtain an authentication form for each paper to verify that the work submitted was assigned and completed in a Carleton course. That practice has been discontinued, mostly because everyone, students and faculty alike, hated it.
