Self studying High School or AP Physics?

I am currently a junior taking AP Chemistry and Honors Precalc. However, I want to take AP Physics C next year but my school only allows people who have taken AP Physics B or Regular Physics to take the course. I have never taken a physics course in my life but I am interested in self studying either a high school level course or physics B course during this school year and the summer. Are there any good websites or review books that might be able to help me?

I recommend definitely getting a textbook. The College Board page about AP Physics B has some recommendations (link below) but you should also do some research to see which is good. It’s actually much cheaper than you’d think to get one. Look on Amazon for cheap used books. (I ordered a used AP Chem text from there for about 13 dollars, including shipping). Just remember to go with a vendor with high positive feedback *and* many ratings/previous costumers. Again, remember to look around on the Internet; you’re bound to find decent used books for under 20 dollars. Comparing my Chem text and the review book I got for the subject, the review book helps you understand the topics but seems a bit too brief and doesn’t go into depth. Also, you’re taking the course, not the test, right? If so, it’s probably more helpful to study from a text.
