Self Esteem Affirmations – What Are they?
Self esteem affirmations are statements that you think or say to yourself throughout the day. You already make statements to yourself each day, however, if you have low self esteem there is a good chance that you say more negative things to yourself than positive. Your critical inner voice may tell you things like “you’re not good enough” or “you can’t do anything right”. Positive affirmations, on the other hand, are statements such as “I deserve to be happy” or “I am a good, worthwhile person”.
