Scott McClellans bombshell book: Why is the White House so puzzled?
The White House is only puzzled that one of their Republican loyalists from the old days in Texas decided to tell the truth. The only confusing aspect should be why McClellan waited so long to divulge his opinions and the reasons he didn’t patriotically resign in disgust when he realized he was only a propaganda pawn. If Scott wants to be remembered as a decent man, he will now declare every penny of the book’s proceeds to be donated to veterans’ causes.
Here’s the puzzlement, there’s so much damage in the book, they don’t even know how to begin the spin, so they are puzzled. As soon as they figure out either an attack tactic, discrediting tactic or just try to dismiss him out of hand as being disgruntled has yet to be determined. Right now the administration is circling the wagons and waving the mystified flag until a plan can be adopted.
I’m puzzled how Dubya, Cheney, Condi, Rummie, Wolfowitz, Bolton and the whole lot haven’t been impeached and/or tried for treason and war crimes. I’m puzzled how Dana Perino can even begin to think she is getting away with simply saying they’re ‘puzzled’ and that will be it. I’m puzzled how Dubya has a 28% approval rating. That seems about 28 percentage points too high.
